On to Quartzsite,AZ

We made it to Wilcox,AZ today (Friday,Feb 15) and had to stop and hunker down as bad weather was coming in. Snow in southern AZ; can you believe it? Yesterday we had a lot of headwind and this morning started out calm and by noon had a strong wind from the South. Part of I-10 was icing toward Tucson. We are having a great time traveling along with my brother, Laddie and his wife, Lake. We will see how the weather goes tomorrow. May do some sight seeing in the area.

Tank's not worried about the weather

On to Quartzsite AZ

We are getting ready to leave on another adventure, this time we are going to Quartzite AZ, a very small town during the summer but will swell to around one million RVs during the winter. They come for the big RV show & to boondock in the desert, the highs will be around 75 to 80 and the lows around 45 to 60. The camping is all but free. It is on BLM land. You have no tables or any type of hookup, no water to plug into or electric and you must carry of your own trash. We are going with my brother & his wife, they have been the last two years. Oh & did I say flea market, one of the largest. We have boondocked but never far that long. Can hardly wait. We hope to leave Wednesday, 2-13-08.

Stay tuned.
